Harimau Malaya's New Boss!

Dec 16, 2024

harimau malaya's new boss!

Harimau Malaya has a new head coach!

The Football Association of Malaysia has confirmed it has given the job to Peter Cklamovski, who recently left Japanese club FC Tokyo.

The Australian officially takes over on January 1st, replacing Pau Marti Vicente, who was interim head coach following Kim Pan Gon’s departure.

Clamovski's first target is to earn qualification for the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.

He’s also been tasked with moving Malaysia into the top 100 in the FIFA World Rankings, from 132nd currently.

FAM also named former Kedah Darul Aman FC head coach Nafuzi Zain the national under-23 head coach.

Man City’s Bernardo Silva has blamed his team’s bad decision-making for their 2-1 Premier League defeat to Manchester United.

However, he says United didn’t deserve to win, because he believes City controlled large portions of the game.

Meanwhile, United boss Ruben Amorim says Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were dropped from the City game because they had underperformed in training and in past matches.

--

Southampton are looking for a new manager after they sacked Russell Martin.

He was let go following their 5-0 Premier League defeat to Spurs, which left them at the bottom of the standings, 9 points from safety.

Meanwhile, fellow EPL strugglers Wolves are reportedly in talks to sign al-Shabab boss Vitor Pereira, following Gary O’Neill’s departure at the weekend.
