So far three of our reps have reached the second round of the Indian badminton Open.  

Pearly Tan/M. Thinaah reached Round 2 of the women's doubles after they defeated their opponents from Chinese Taipei in straight sets.  

Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Lai, and Vivian Hoo/Lim Chiew Sien also advanced. 

Meanwhile Lee Zii Jia will be in action later today.

Former Roma captain Daniele de Rossi has been named as the Italian club's new manager, replacing Jose Mourinho.   

He takes charge of a Roma side that saw its worst start to a season in two decades.  

They are currently in 9th place in Serie A, 22 points off current leaders Inter Milan.
