Liverpool have beaten Inter Milan 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.

Roberto Firmino started the scoring late in the second half, but Mo Salah sealed the deal in the final 10 minutes.

This makes Salah the first Reds player to score in eight consecutive Champions League away matches.

RB Salzburg were denied a famous win as a below-par Bayern Munich salvaged a 1-1 draw in their last-16 first leg match.

It was the Austrian side’s first time in the knockout stages, but they gave six-time winners Bayern a run for their money with an early goal.

Kingsley Coman then equalised in the 90th minute for the Bundesliga Champions.
