Spurs Sack Mourinho

Jose Mourinho has been sacked as Tottenham manager after just 17 months in charge.

This follows a poor run of results that saw Spurs celebrate only one league win in five matches.

Tottenham are currently seventh on the Premier League table and at risk of missing out on a place in the top four.

His sacking also comes days before Spurs are due to take on Man City in the League Cup final.

ESL founders take legal action against FIFA, UEFA

The 12 founding members of the breakaway European Super League have pre-emptively taken legal action against FIFA and UEFA.

This comes after FIFA, UEFA, as well as the Premier League warned member clubs of repercussions if they participate in the European Super League, which aims to rival the Champions League.

The European powerhouses include Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid and more.
