Another Gold Medals Haul At The SEA Games!
Dec 19, 2025

So far today, we’ve added another 7 gold medals to our tally at the SEA Games in Thailand!
We dominated the Squash courts, with Sanjay Jeeva and Noor Ainaa Amani claiming gold in the men’s and women’s individual events respectively.
They defeated fellow Malaysians in their finals meaning we also earned silver in both events.
Malaysia also won gold in both the men’s and women's team events for field hockey.
We also won gold in bowling, shooting and diving.
This means we are currently in 4th place in the overall standings, with 51 gold medals.
Meanwhile, hosts Thailand top the table with 209 gold, surpassing Vietnam’s record for most gold medals won in a single edition of the Games.
However, Thailand are still shy of their target of 241 gold medals.
