Will Zii Jia and Jin Wei Play In The Thomas & Uber Cups?

Lee Zii Jia and Goh Jin Wei have yet to decide on whether to join Malaysia's Thomas and Uber Cup badminton squads this year.  

BAM performance committee chief Datuk Lee Chong Wei says both players have asked for a week to think it over.  

This, after Chong Wei met with the two shuttlers earlier today.

Meanwhile, independent men's doubles pair Goh Sze Fei – Nur Izzuddin have confirmed their participation in the Thomas Cup.  

They will compete alongside Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik and Man Wei Choong-Tee Kai Wun.

Former Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has rejected an offer to take charge of Marseilles, following the sacking of Roberto di Zerbi.  

Alonso continues to be linked with Liverpool, who could replace Arne Slot if they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.
