Man City Stay In The EPL Title Race

Man City have kept up the pressure in the EPL title race, with a crucial 2-1 victory over Newcastle at the Etihad.

It leaves Pep Guardiola’s side just two points adrift of leaders Arsenal…who will take on Tottenham in the North London derby early tomorrow.

In other Premier League results…Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley.

It also ended 1-1 between Aston Villa and Leeds.

West Ham and Bournemouth played out a goalless draw.

While Brighton had a 2-0 win over Brentford.

Over in La Liga…Real Madrid have suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Osasuna.

It leaves them just two points ahead of second-placed Barcelona…having played a game more.

In Serie A action…leaders Inter had a 2-0 win over Lecce.

Juventus suffered a 2-0 defeat to Como.

While Lazio and Cagliari played out a goalless draw.

In other developments…

Harry Kane scored his 28^th Bundesliga goal of the season, helping Bayern Munich beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 to move eight points clear at the summit.
