Japan has reported its first positive COVID-19 case linked to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic torch run.

Organisers say the man is a police officer who was helping to guide traffic as the torch was passing through a town in the Nagawa prefecture.

Officials say the man DID wear a mask, had no contact with runners.

A group of Manchester United fans have reportedly turned up at the club's training ground in protest against the Red Devils' owners, the Glazer family. 

They blocked both entrances to the training complex and unfurled banners criticising the Glazers. 

This, amid the fallout from the failed European Super League.

Meanhile, a Chelsea supporter's group has called on Blues chairman Bruce Buck to resign, amid the fallout from the European Super League controversy. 

The Chelsea Supporters Trust also demanded to know why fans were NOT consulted, before they decided to join the now-abandoned league.

Ash Barty took COVID-19 vaccine in America

Tennis world no.1 Ashleigh Barty has confirmed that she received the COVID-19 vaccine at a tournament in the US earlier this month, through an initiative by the WTA Tour. 

She insists that she did NOT cut the queue ahead of more deserving recipeints

The Australian says the WTA sourced the vaccines from pharmacies that had extra supplies.
