Windfall Awaits Paralympic Gold Medalists

More rewards await Malaysia’s gold medalists at the Paris Paralympics.
The Malaysian Paralympic Council says private companies have offered a further 60 thousand ringgit incentive for successful athletes.
President Datuk Seri Megat Shahriman says they’re also negotiating for our gold medallists to be given a car.
All this is on top of the one million ringgit reward for a gold medal, under the official Sports Victory Prize Scheme.

Perlis weightlifter Muhammad Hafizuddin Roslin has broken the national record en-route to winning gold in the men’s 81kg category at SUKMA 2024.
His total of 332 kilograms was 17kg’s more than the previous best mark.
