sukma 2024: another record falls

Another record has fallen at the 2024 SUKMA Games!

In rack and field, Kelantan's Muhammad Fakhrul Afizul won the gold medal in the men's 400m hurdles.

He did it in 51.11 seconds, which is a new national record.

Johor took silver ahead of the Federal Territories.

--

SUKMA hosts Sarawak continue to inch closer to becoming the Games’ overall champions.

At last look, the Hornbill state was on 57 gold medals.

Meanwhile the Federal Territories remain in second place on 50 gold, followed by Terengganu, Selangor, Penang and Johor.

--

It looks like Raheem Sterling's time at Chelsea is coming to an end.

Reports say the winger has decided to leave the Blues, after being told that he is NOT part of boss Enzo Maresca's plan for this season.

Meanwhile Sterling has already been stripped of his no.7 shirt, which was given to their  new signing Pedro Neto.
--

Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new record, after his new YouTube channel earned one million subscribers in just 90 minutes.

Meanwhile at last look, the channel already has 16.5 million subscribers.

--

Malaysian shuttlers Pearly Tan/M. Thinaah, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin, and Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei have all advanced to the quarterfinals of the Japan badminton Open.

However, Leong Jun Hao made a second-round exit, losing to local favourite Kodai Naraoka.
