FAM To Lodge Police Report Over Heritage Players Docs

Dec 22, 2025

fam to lodge police report over heritage players docs

The Football Association of Malaysia will lodge a police report over the alleged falsification of documents involving seven heritage players.

FAM says it's so that the police can investigate how the alleged falsification took place, and determine who was responsible.

The police report is one of three recommendations made by the Independent Investigative Committee over the matter.

The committee also suggested an internal investigation into FAM's now-suspended Secretary General.

It also called on FAM to implement structural reforms and take other preventive measures to restore its credibility.

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery insists that his team are NOT Premier League title contenders.

He says that while his team have been consistent in recent matches, they are still nowhere near the likes of Arsenal or Man City.

Villa are on a run of 10 straight wins in all competitions, including last night's 2-1 victory over Manchester United.

The Villains are third in the EPL table, 3 points behind leaders Arsenal.

Liverpool could step up their pursuit of Bournemouth's versatile attacker Antoine Semenyo in next month's transfer window.

This, if Reds striker Alexander Isak is ruled out for an extended period due to his leg injury.
