Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik are through to the quarter finals of the Malaysian badminton Masters, after beating their 2nd round opponents in 3 sets 

Meanwhile Pearly Tan/M. Thinaah are through to the women’s doubles quarters. 

In the mixed doubles, Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei, Tan Kian Men/Lai Pei Jing and Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Lai advanced.  

Singles players Goh Jin Wei and Leong Jun Hao crashed out.

Chelsea are hopeful to appoint their next manager within the next few days, following Mauricio Pochettino’s exit  

According to reports, the Blues have already identified several potential candidates, including Brighton’s Roberto de Zerbi, Ipswich’s Keiran McKenna and Burnley’s Vincent Kompany.  

Meanwhile, the English FA could reportedly appoint Pochettino as their next national manager, if Gareth Southgate decides to step down after Euro 2024.
