Malaysia has continued its flying start at the Under-19 ASEAN Championship, after recording a 5-nil win over Singapore.

This is Harimau Muda’s second win of the tournament, following their 11-nil opening victory over Brunei last week.

The Malaysians will wrap up their Group C campaign with a match against Thailand on Thursday.

Elsewhere, Man City are reportedly eyeing PSG and Italy keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The 25-year-old is being targeted as a replacement for City’s current first-choice stopper Ederson…who is widely rumoured to be moving to the Saudi Pro League.

-

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the signing of Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori…who’s valued at around 34 million pounds.

A private company is offering a one million ringgit reward for Malaysian athletes who win a gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

It is the latest to announce special incentives for our gold medalists…after several other corporations earlier offered rewards like a luxury apartment and an SUV.

All this is in addition to the government’s incentive scheme…which offers a million ringgit to any athlete who brings home a gold from Paris.

-

In other developments ahead of the Olympics…the US contingent has voted in NBA legend LeBron James as the country’s male flag bearer for this weekend’s opening ceremony.
