Man United stage comeback to beat Barcelona

Manchester United produced a stunning second-half comeback, to beat Barcelona 2-1 in the second leg of their Europa League playoff this morning.
The Red Devils advance to the last-16 on a 4-3 aggregate.
Robert Lewandowski had given Barca the lead from the penalty spot in the first half before Fred equalized just after the break.
Antony then secured the victory with a 73rd minute strike.
For Barca, this is the first time since 1985 that they’ve been eliminated from a European competition without reaching the last-16.
In other selected Europa League playoff results this morning…Angel Di Maria netted a hattrick as Juventus defeated Nantes 3-0 this morning and 4-1 on aggregate.
Union Berlin defeated Ajax 3-1 over both legs…for the German club’s biggest European victory to date.
Shakhtar Donetsk beat Rennes 5-4 on penalties…after they were tied 3-3 on aggregate.
Former winners Sevilla lost 2-0 to PSV Eindhoven…but advance 3-2 on aggregate.
While Jose Mourinho’s Roma beat Salzburg 2-0 to complete a 2-1 aggregate victory.
The draw for the last-16 will be conducted later tonight…with the first legs to be played early next month.
