Pep Guardiola claims Aguero off to Barcelona

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola claims out-of-contract striker Sergio Aguero is headed for Barcelona.

Aguero will leave City when his contract expires this summer, and is reportedly close to agreeing a deal with Barca.

Guardiola revealed this while paying an emotional tribute to the forward after their 5-nil trashing of Everton this morning.

Including his double from this morning’s match, Aguero has scored 260 goals for City over a decade.

Brendan Rodgers disappointed with Leicester missing Champions League football…again

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers is extremely disappointed with missing out on Champions League football again for the second year running.

However, he didn’t have a bad word to say against his players, but thanked them for their dedication to the squad.

Rodgers adds now is the time for his Foxes players to take time off and recover so that they can return motivated for the new season.

Tottenham’s Harry Kane has been awarded the Premier League Golden Boot for being the league’s top goalscorer this season with 23 goals.

This is Kane’s third Golden Boot after winning it back-to-back in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons.
