Euro 2024: Will Italy Avoid Early Exit?

Jun 24, 2024

euro 2024: will italy avoid early exit?

Italy are expected to make several changes for their final Euro 2024 Group B game against Croatia.

This, after a sub-par performance in their recent defeat to rivals Spain.

Italy are currently in 2nd place in the group, and need at least a draw to join Spain in the last-16.

This, as the Spaniards need at least a draw in their game against Albania to be confirmed as group winners.

They will go into the match without Man City’s Rodri, who is suspended after picking up two yellow cards, while Nacho and Ayoze Perez are injured.

--

Germany will be without key defender Jonathan Tah for their last-16 clash this weekend.

The Bayer Leverkusen centre-back will be suspended after picking up two yellow cards in the group stage.

--

In this morning’s Copa America  Uruguay beat Panama 3-1 in Group C

They're level on 3 points with the USA, who had a 2-0 win over Bolivia.

--

And AC Milan have joined Newcastle in the race to sign Everton attacker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The Serie A giants are looking for a replacement for France striker Olivier Giroud.
