Man Utd Close In On Mbeumo

Man United are closing in on their second major signing of the summer.

UK sources say the Red Devils have tabled an improved bid of over 60 million pounds for Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo…having had an earlier 45 million offer rejected.

Negotiations between the two clubs are expected to continue this week.

It comes as United look to further strengthen their attack ahead of the new season, having already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves.

In other transfer news…Barcelona have reportedly identified Atletico’s Julian Alvarez as an eventual replacement for Robert Lewandowski...who turns 37 later this year.

Real Madrid are said to have slapped a 77 million pounds price tag on Rodrygo…amid reports linking the winger with a move to the Premier League.
