Rodri Out For The Season

Sep 24, 2024

rodri out for the season

Midfielder Rodri is likely to miss the rest of the season for Man City.

Multiple sources say the Spaniard will need nearly a year to recover from the serious knee injury that he suffered in their draw with Arsenal over the weekend.

His absence will come as a huge blow for the EPL champions, who’ve failed to win nearly 40 percent of their league matches without Rodri.

Meanwhile, Barcelona keeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen has successfully undergone surgery to fix a knee problem, with the Barca skipper expected to be sidelined for at least seven months.

-

Malaysia has continued its unbeaten start at the AFC Under-20 Asian Cup qualifiers, after a goalless draw with North Korea.

The national juniors had earlier pulled off a surprise 2-1 win over Oman in their group opener.

Harimau Muda are currently second in their group, trailing the North Koreans on goal difference.

-

Malaysia has won the overall title at the Asian Bowling Championships.

The national team has picked up six gold, five silver and two bronze medals so far, with two more events remaining.

The latest gold came via Sin Li Jane, who won the women’s all-events title to add on to the doubles crown she won earlier.
