Nov 25, 2024

max wins 4th wdc!

Max Verstappen is a four-time world champion!

The Formula 1 driver won his fourth consecutive World Drivers’ Championship after finishing fifth at the Las Vegas Grand Prix yesterday.

Title rival Lando Norris could only manage sixth for McLaren, meaning his gap to Verstappen now sits at 63 points, with only a maximum of 60 available in the final two races.

Meanwhile, George Russel won the Vegas GP, with Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton coming in second while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz took third.

The result means Russel is the 7th multiple race winner this season, the first time there’s been this many multiple race winners in F1 history.

Separately, sources say Cadillac will join F1 as the eleventh team in 2026.

According to a report, the deal is finalized, and a formal announcement will be made next week.

Man United’s new boss Ruben Amorim is not too worried about the team’s form.

He says there’s plenty of space to improve, and that it may take time for the club’s players to adapt to his new system.

This, after Amorim’s first game in charge at the Red Devils ended with a 1 – all Premier League draw against Ipswich Town.

Marcus Rashford scored a goal to start the match with an 81-second opener for the Red Devils before Ipswich equalized before half time.

---

National shuttlers Hoo Pang Ron/Cheng Su Yin are the runners up for the China badminton Masters!

This, after the mixed doubles duo were defeated by the world number one pair from the host nation in the final.

It was also the Malaysian pair’s best performance since they started partnering a year ago.
