EPL: Everton vs Burnley now postponed

Everton’s EPL match at Burnley tomorrow has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns and injuries.
The Premier League earlier rejected Everton’s request to call off the game.
However, the request was reviewed following further injuries in the squad.
This means three of the nine matches scheduled for tomorrow have now been postponed.

Rangnick suggests scrapping League Cup

Man United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has suggested scrapping the League Cup to ease fixture congestion in English football.
The schedule, which is traditionally at its busiest over year-end holiday, has come under severe strain due to COVID-19.
Several Premier League clubs have reported a coronavirus outbreak, while a number of Boxing Day matches have now been postponed.

Man City reportedly lining up four deals to fund Erling Haaland move

Manchester City are reportedly planning four deals next year, in their bid to raise funds for Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
It’s believed the biggest of those deals will go through next month, with Ferran Torres agreeing to move to Barcelona for around 55 million euros plus add-ons.
However, City are likely to face stiff competition for the in-demand player, amid interests from clubs like Man United, Chelsea, Barcelona, and PSG.
