United Must Replace The Irreplaceable Bruno

Dec 25, 2025

united must replace the irreplaceable bruno

(Ah, ah, ah, ah stayin' aliiiiiiiiiiiiiive)

Man United boss Ruben Amorim wants his players to step up while their ‘irreplaceable’ captain Bruno Fernandes recovers from injury.

Fernandes was forced to limp off in their 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa, and could be out of action for up to a month.

This will be a huge blow for United, as Fernades is the player who has created the most chances in the Premier League so far this season.

United's campaign continues early Saturday morning, when they host Newcastle at Old Trafford.

--

Tottenham captain Christian Romero could be facing an extended ban by the English FA after being sent off in their defeat to Liverpool.

He has been charged with improper conduct, for refusing to leave the pitch immediately and confronting match officials after receiving his marching orders.

--

The Asian Football Confederation says any penalties for Harimau Malaya for fielding ineligible players will only be decided after the Court of Arbitration for Sports rules on FAM's appeal.

This, as it denied international news reports that it has decided to suspend the national team until 2031.
