Slot Still Plays Down Title Talk

Liverpool boss Arne Slot is still refusing to talk about his team's Premier League title hopes. 

He says they must focus on their 10 remaining matches, in addition to the EFL Cup Final and Champions League campaign.  

Liverpool are now almost certain to be crowned the EPL champions after extending their lead to 13 points over Arsenal, who have a game in hand.  

If they can maintain that advantage, reports say the Reds will be crowned Champions in late April, with three or four games to spare.

Atletico Madrid are considering a summer bid for Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez. 

However, the EPL leaders will only consider such a move when they have a replacement in place.  

It's believed that one of their possible targets is Brighton's Joao Pedro.

Arsenal expect Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli to return from their respective hamstring injuries in early April, after the next International break. 

Their return would be a welcome boost, as fellow forwards Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz are out for the season.
