Oct 28, 2024

kuching to host sea games opening ceremony

Kuching will host the opening ceremony for the 2027 SEA Games.

This was confirmed by the Sarawak Premier, who said that the state earned the right following its successful hosting of the recent SUKMA Games.

The SEA Games will be joinly-hosted by Sarawak, KL and Penang.

Chelsea will face a £75,000 fine from the English FA, after becoming the first-ever team to receive at least 6 yellow cards in three separate games in a Premier League season.

This is after 6 players, including Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku were booked in their win against Newcastle last night.

The Blues previously received 8 yellow cards in September's 1-nil win over Bournemouth, and earned another six bookings in their game against Nottingham Forest earlier this month.

Real Madrid have reportedly stepped up their search for Carlo Ancelotti's replacement, following their humiliating 4-0 home loss to Barcelona.

According to Spanish media, Bayer Leverkusen boss, and former Real player Xabi Alonso is the favourite to replace the Italian.

--

Also, reports say that PSG have joined Real in the race to sign right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has yet to sign a new contract at Liverpool.

This, as Liverpool reportedly identified Salzburg's Amar Dedic as a possible replacement for Alexander-Arnold.
