Speedy Tigers Grind To A Halt

Malaysia’s hopes of making the final of the Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup are over, after a heavy 9-1 defeat to Belgium.
It leaves the Speedy Tigers fifth in the standings, with only the top two teams advancing to the final.
They can now only hope to stay in contention for a bronze at best, when they face South Korea in their final round-robin match tomorrow…ahead of the classification ties on Sunday.

Still on our athletes, S. Sivasangari has made the quarterfinals of the Hong Kong FC Squash Open, after a straight sets victory over compatriot Rachel Arnold.
