Slot: Don't Judge Liverpool Yet

Sep 29, 2024

slot: don't judge liverpool yet

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has played down his team’s Premier League title chances for now.

The Anfield club are on a run of 5 wins in 6 matches, and currently have a 1-point lead at the top of the table after beating Wolves 2-1.

Slot pointed out that his players still need to prove themselves against tougher teams, such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City.

--

Man City boss Pep Guardiola admits he needs to find a solution, after losing midfielder Rodri for the rest of the season.

This is after City drew 1-1 with Newcastle, to drop to 2nd place in the EPL table.

--

Man United will host Tottenham in the Premier League tonight, after having differing fortunes in the Europa League in mid-week.

United are expected to field the same side that drew 1-1 with FC Twente, as Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are still injured.

Meanwhile Spurs’ Heung-min will face a late fitness test, after suffering an injury scare in their Europa League win against Qarabag.
