Singapore Open: Only One Rep Left

Aaron Chia – Soh Wooi Yik are through to the semifinals of the Singapore badminton Open.  

The Malaysian men's doubles pair advanced after beating compatriots Man Wei Chong – Tee Kai Wun in straight sets.  

Meanwhile, our FOUR other reps have crashed out in the last-eight – namely Pearly Tan – M. Thinaah, Goh Sze Fei – Nur Izzuddin, Goh Soon Huat – Shevon Lai, and Leong Jun Hao.

Astro Arena says Ng Tze Yong could be facing an extended spell on the sidelines.  

This is after the men's singles shuttler suffered an ACL injury in last week's Malaysian masters.

AC Milan have sacked coach Sergio Conceicao after just six months, and ex-boss Max Allegri is set to take charge for a second time.   

Milan finished in 8th place in Serie A, and were beaten by Bologna in the Coppa Italia final.

Argentine football star Angel Di Maria has confirmed he will return to his boyhood club Rosario Central, once he leaves Benfica after the Club World Cup.   

This comes nearly a year after he cancelled plans to rejoin Rosario after his family received death threats.
