6 Clubs Eye Messi

Aug 26, 2020

Clubs Line Up For Messi's Signature

So far 6 clubs are said to be interested in signing Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, after he submitted an official transfer request.

Man City are believed to be the favourites for his signature, due to Pep Guardiola's presense at the club.

Meanwhile, Man United are thought to be considering a move for Messi, after failing in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho.

The Argentine star has also been linked with PSG, Inter Milan and Chelsea.

A move to Juventus has also been mooted, which would see him link up with long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bayern: No Alcantara Bid From Liverpool Yet

Bayern Munich's CEO claims that Liverpool have yet to make an official bid for midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

The EPL champions are reportedly leading the race to sign the Spanish international, who is said to be looking for a fresh challenge at another club.

Thiago has one year left in his current Bayern deal, and is thought to be available for 27 million pounds.

COVID-19 Lands Ex-F1 Boss In Hospital

Fomer F1 team boss Flavio Briatore is reportedly in hospital in Italy, due to complications from COVID-19.

The 70-year-old enjoyed his fair share of success in Formula 1, helping Michael Schumacher win 2 Word Championship titles with Benetton in the mid-90s.

However, he was forced to step down from Renault  over the ‘crashgate’ scandal of 2008, where Nelson Piquet deliberately crashed out of the Singapore GP to allow his team-mate Fernando Alonso win the race.
