American teams dominate sports' money list

American teams have dominated the latest Forbes list of the world's most valuable sports teams.

The NFL's Dallas Cowboys took the top spot for the fourth consecutive year. 

Their value of 5 billion dollars put them ahead of Major League Baseball's New York Yankees, who overtook Real Madrid for second place.

Fellow La Liga club Barcelona were fourth, while the NBA's New York Knicks rounded up the top five.

PSG to splash the cash to keep Mbappe

PSG reportedly plan to make Kylian Mbappe one of the highest-paid players on the planet, in a bid to keep the striker at the French capital.

The 20-year-old has been on the radar of some of Europe's top clubs over the past few seasons - particularly Man City. 

PSG, however, are hoping to hold on to Mbappe by offering him a whopping 860 thousand pounds per week - using funds from the likely sale of Neymar.

De Gea wants the captain's armband

David de Gea is not content with being Man United's first-choice keeper...he also wants to be club captain.

The Spaniard, who's about to sign a new six-year contract extension, says he wants to take on more responsibility having been at the club for nine seasons.

The United captaincy is currently up for grabs following the departure of Antonio Valencia at the end of last season. 

No charges against Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo will not face charges in Las Vegas in connection with a sexual assault allegation, because the case cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Juventus and Portugal star has maintained he is innocent of the rape, which allegedly took place 10 years ago.
