Asian Cup qualifier: North Korea must agree to neutral venue first

Mar 08, 2017

Msia's upcoming Asian Cup qualifier against North Korea will only be played at a neutral venue IF North Korea agrees to move the match away from Pyongyang.

The Asian Football Confederation says if North Korea insists on playing the match in Pyongyang, the matter will be discussed in its committee meeting.

A final decision is expected within this week.

This amid strained relations between Msia and North Korea over the murder of a North Korean man at KLIA 2 last month.
