At the Euro - 23 June

Jun 23, 2016

England defender Gary Cahill says the race for the Euro 2016 title is wide open.

The Chelsea man says the big names are struggling, citing France's second Group A game as an example, where the hosts scored 2 late goals to beat a stubborn Albania team 2-nil.

The 3 Lions finished second in Group B, a point behind table toppers, Wales, and will meet Iceland in the first knockout stage.

Also, Wales boss Chris Coleman says his boys must be ready for a physical contest against Northern Ireland in their last-16 clash this Sunday.

He says the Northern Ireland squad are also superbly organised and strong defensively.
