Aug 02, 2019

Arsenal sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille
Arsenal have signed Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe from French side Lille, for a club record fee of 72 million pounds.
The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the club, and he hopes to emulate the success of Alexandre Lacazette, who moved to the Emirates from Lyon in 2017.
Pepe becomes the fourth-most expensive signing in Premier League history, after Man United duo Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku, and Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk.

F1 will now impose time penalty for unsafe pit release
The FIA have announced it will start imposing time penalties for unsafe releases at pitstops, following the controversy over the Charles Leclerc incident at the German GP.
During the first round of stops at Hockenheim, Leclerc was released in to the path of Romain Grosjean, forcing the Haas driver to hit the brakes, and subsequently costing him positions.
Race stewards handed Ferrari a 5000 euro fine, but it prompted concerns that teams may take more risks at pit stops over releasing drivers, as a fine isn't as hefty a punishment as a time penalty.
