Ben Mee netted the only goal of the game just after the hour mark.
The win lifts The Clarets up to eighth in the standings, which could be enough to secure a place in the Europa League, if Man City’s European ban is upheld.

Insiders say that while the Reds are willing to consider bringing in a new center-back, they have no intention of meeting the player’s transfer fee, which is said to be upwards of 70 million pounds.
Separate reports last week had claimed that Man City were prepared to pay as much as 72 million for Koulibaly.
