Jun 30, 2020

Burnley remain on course for a place in Europe next season, after their 1-0 Premiership win over Crystal Palace this morning.

Ben Mee netted the only goal of the game just after the hour mark.

The win lifts The Clarets up to eighth in the standings, which could be enough to secure a place in the Europa League, if Man City’s European ban is upheld.

Reds have no interest in Koulibaly

Liverpool have rubbished reports that they’re keen on signing Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Insiders say that while the Reds are willing to consider bringing in a new center-back, they have no intention of meeting the player’s transfer fee, which is said to be upwards of 70 million pounds.

Separate reports last week had claimed that Man City were prepared to pay as much as 72 million for Koulibaly.

Mercedes makes a stand for equality

The Mercedes F1 team will be ditching their traditional silver colour scheme, in favour of a new black design for 2020.

It is to speak out against racism, and push the team's commitment to greater diversity and inclusion in motorsports.
