COVID-19: IOC to gauge athletes' preparedness ahead of Olympics

The international Olympic Committee is compiling a report on how COVID-19 is affecting athletes’ preparations for the Tokyo Games.
It wants to know if emergency coronavirus regulations have affected how athletes train and prepare for the event, which is due to start in July.
This, as the IOC is facing increased pressure to postpone the games, including from the US athletics governing body.

Juventus star Paolo Dybala says he has contracted COVID-19.
He is the third Juve player to be confirmed to have the virus, after centre-back Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi.
AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini has also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz has died, after being hospitalised with COVID-19.
The 76 year old was president of Real from 1995 to 2000, during which they won the Champions League twice.
