Champions League Previews: Spurs vs Bayern, Real Madrid vs Brugge

Oct 01, 2019

Champions League action resumes tomorrow...with Tottenham awaiting the visit of German giants Bayern Munich.

It is the first time in 36 years the two sides will face each other in a competitive fixture.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will look to bounce back from their recent shock defeat to PSG, when they host Belgian side Brugge.

Fifa has ordered Cardiff to pay more than 5 million pounds to French club Nantes, over the transfer of Emiliano Sala.

The Argentine forward was killed in a plane crash in January, as he was about to complete his move to the Msian-owned Welsh club.

After his death, the clubs failed to reach an agreement on whether the full 15 million pound fee should be paid.

New Zealand's Ardie Savea will make history at when he becomes the first player to wear goggles in a Rugby World Cup match, when the All Blacks take on Canada tomorrow.

Savea started developing eye problems several years ago, and believes wearing the goggles will help save him from going blind.

Also, he hopes that the protective eyewear can help inspire visually-impaired children to take up rugby.
