Chelsea defeated Liverpool 1-nil in an International Champions Cup match in Pasadena, California courtersy of a goal by Blues defender, Gary Cahill
Earlier, AC Milan also opened their International Champions Cup campaign with a 5-3 penalty shootout win over Bayern Munich in Chicago.
However, things are not looking so good for Real Madrid as they were beaten 3-1 by PSG in their ICC opener in Ohio.
