Chinese F1 GP looking at alternative dates

Feb 03, 2020

Organisers of the Chinese F1 GP are looking to delay the race, which is due to take place in April, due to the coronavirus outbreak.

According to reports, organisers are trying to swap the date with the Russian GP, which is scheduled for the weekend of September 27th.

This comes a day after the all-electric Formula E series decided to call off its race in China.

Several other sporting events there have also been cancelled or postponed, including the World Indoor Athletics Championships.

Edison Cavani's agent has confirmed that the PSG forward turned down offers from Man United and Chelsea during last month's transfer window, because he was desperate to join Atletico Madrid.

This is even though the Premier League duo were offering more money than the Spanish club.

However, a deal with Atletico failed to materialise.

PSG have reportedly held clear-the-air talks between Kylian Mbappe and boss Thomas Tuchel.

The duo had clashed during their 5-nil win over Montpellier over the weekend.

Mbappe was upset at being substituted in the 2nd half, and argued with Tuchel after leaving the field.

According to French reports, last night's meeting failed to resolve their differences, and Mbappe could push to leave PSG this summer.
