David Villa announces retirement from football

Spanish veteran David Villa has announced his retirement from football.
The former Barcelona star, who currently plays for Japanese club Vissel Kobe, says he will call time on his career at the end of the current J1 League season.
The 37-year-old is Spain's all-time top scorer with 59 goals in 98 international games.
Villa also won 3 La Liga titles, at Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, while he also helped Barca win the Champions League in 2011.
Raheem Sterling in contention for Kosovo

England boss Gareth Southgate assures that Raheem Sterling will be available for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifier against Kosovo next week.
The Man City winger was dropped from the squad that will face Montenegro on Friday, following his bust-up with Liverpool's Joe Gomez.
Southgate also said the team has already gotten past the fight, and are now fully focused on qualifying for the game against Montenegro.
Real Madrid considering Mbappe move?

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to set a new world transfer record in order to sign PSG forward Kylian Mbappe.
The Frenchman still has 2-and-a-half years left in his current PSG contract, and the Paris club are keen to hang on to him.
However, it's believed that an offer of around 340 million pounds would be enough to persuade PSG to sell him.
