Deputy Sports Minister: more to come from diving.

Aug 11, 2016

Deputy Sports Minister, Datuk M. Saravanan is confident national divers, Pandelela Rinong and Cheong Jun Hoong will deliver another medal each for Malaysia at the Rio Olympics.

He says the duo, who won a silver medal in their synchronised 10m platform event yesterday, have a chance of winning a medal in their upcoming 10m platform ( Pandelela) and 3m springboard events (Jun Hoong).

Meanwhile, he adds based on current performance, there is a high chance for medals to be won in badminton, via Datuk Lee Chong Wei and the doubles event.
