EPL rulles out sourcing own COVID-19 vaccine supply

The English Premier League has again ruled out getting its own supply of COVID-19 vaccines.

This is despite a recent spike in COVID-19 cases at several EPL clubs, which caused three matches in December to be postponed. 

According to reports, league officials believe that priority for the vaccines should given to the vulnerable members of the community.

Ban, fine for Cavani's Instagram post

Manchester United's Edinson Cavani has been given a three-match ban, and was fined £100,000 for a social media post that can be considered racially offensive in some contexts.

Along with the penalties, Cavani must also complete a racial sensitivity education programme.

The ban means that Cavani will not feature in United's EPL game against Aston Villa tomorrow morning.

Ozil could stay at Arsenal until the summer

Mesut Ozil is may reportedly reject any offers to leave Arsenal in this month's transfer window. 

According to reports, the German star is considering staying at the Emirates Stadium until the end of the season, when when contract expires. 

Ozil is out of favour under Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
