Chelsea have moved top of their Champions League group with an impressive 1-0 away win over Ajax.

Michy Batshuayi netted a late winner with four minutes to go to inflict Ajax's first group stage defeat since November 2014.

Elsewhere, holders Liverpool recorded a comfortable 4-1 win over Genk.

It leaves the Reds second in their group, one point behind Napoli - who edged past Salzburg 3-2 this morning.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi has broken another Champions League record.

He scored the opening goal in Barcelona's 2-1 win over Slavia Prague this morning to become the first player to score in 15 consecutive Champions League seasons.
