Dec 04, 2019

National gymnast Farah Ann Abdul Hadi has picked up her second gold medal at the SEA Games, with a strong uneven bars performance.

Joining her on the podium was national compatriot Rachel Yeoh, who took home bronze.

The Malaysian gymnastics team nabbed two gold medals yesterday, with the other coming from Tan Fu Jie in the Pommel Horse.

Malaysia also won five other gold medals through chess, bowling, squash and ice skating.

City had won only once in their last five games in all competitions, and are currently 11 points behind leaders Liverpool.

Rodri and Riyad Mahrez also got on the scoresheet, as the defending champions moved back into second place in the standings.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace edged Bournemouth 1-nil to move up to fifth, five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Chelsea brace for decision on transfer ban appeal

Chelsea expect to find out within the coming days, if their transfer ban has been lifted.

The Blues were given a two-window ban by FIFA in February for breaching rules on signing young players, and had chosen not to rush an appeal.

However, their case was heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport last month, and they should know if their appeal proved successful soon.
