Ferrari to appeal Canadian GP penalty on Vettel
Jun 10, 2019
Ferrari have officially announced they will appeal the five-second penalty imposed on Sebastian Vettel, that cost him a victory at the Canadian F1 GP earlier this morning.
Vettel took the chequered flag, but was penalised for unsafe driving during the race, with Lewis Hamilton going on to win.
Ferrari insist their driver did nothing wrong, and are taking their case to the authorities, even if it's highly unlikely that the race results will be changed.
The Italian outfit have till Thursday to decide whether to go ahead with the appeal.
