Footballers issue public apologies

National under-22 football strikers Syafiq Ahmad and Jafri Firdaus Chew have issued public apologies.
This, after they failed to perform up to par in Malaysia's 2-1 win in their opening SEA Games match.
The national squad will be facing Singapore in their 2nd Group A match at the Shah Alam Stadium at 8.40 tonight.
