Man City boss Pep Guardiola is hoping that Sergio Aguero will remain at the club beyond his current contract, which ends in 2021.

Guardiola says it is difficult to find a replacement for a proven goal scorer like him.

Chelsea have set a price limit to pay for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

The Blues remain interested in signing Sancho in the transfer window next month but are unwilling to go as high as the 100 million pounds set by Dortmund.

They have decided to hold off pursuing a deal if Dortmund does not reduce their asking price for the 19-year-old.

The midfielder was brought off at half-time during their 4-1 win over Newcastle this morning.
