Wolverhampton Wanderer's 383-day long season has ended with a 1-0 defeat to Sevilla in the Europa League quarterfinals.
It brings to end a marathon campaign for the English club that began in the qualifying rounds in July of last year.

An 88th minute header was enough to seal the win for Sevilla this morning, after Wolves failed to convert a first-half penalty.
Wolves manager Nuno Espiroto Santo lamented how close his side came to going thru.
"Frustration. In the last minute it was something that happened to us too many times... a lack of focus. But I'm proud of the boys. We played a tough team. We were organised and had our moments, but lost out to the small details. That's what happens in football"
Sevilla, five-time winners of the tournament, will now go on to face Man United in the last four.

The Ukrainian side netted twice in each half in the one-sided affair, to book a place against Inter Milan in the last four.
Man Utd's Plan B
Man United have reportedly opened informal talks about a possible move for Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele.

The Premiership side apparently sees the French winger as a back-up in case their move for Jadon Sancho falls through.
United have yet to make progress in their negotiations for Sancho, with his club Borussia Dortmund refusing to budge from their 120 million euros asking price.

Reports say Juventus are prepared to sell Aaron Ramsey this summer, if the right offer comes along.
The midfielder has spent just one season with Juve.
And, Tottenham have completed the signing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton in a deal worth 15 million pounds plus bonuses.
