Jamaican sprinters set to dominate IAAF World Athletes of the Year award

Jamaican sprinters are set to dominate the 2016 IAAF World Athletes of the Year award.

Usain Bolt, who is set to retire next year, has been shortlisted in the men's category after taking his Olympic gold medal haul to 9 in Rio.

Also shortlisted for the award are Olympic champions Mo Farah, David Rudisha and Wayde van Niekerk.

Meanwhile, Olympic sprint queen Elaine Thompson and Caster Semenya made the 10-woman shortlist.
