Jamie Vardy's performance against Liverpool baffles Jürgen Klopp

Jan 30, 2019

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp admits he's wary of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy, ahead of tomorrow's EPL clash at Anfield.

Klopp says he has no idea why Vardy is so potent against his team, having scored seven league goals against The Reds.

Only Andrew Cole and Thierry Henry have scored more.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking to capitalise on Manchester City's shock defeat to Newcastle this morning.

A win against the Foxes tomorrow morning will extend the Reds's EPL lead over City to seven points.

The 23-year-old was previously linked with a move out of Old Trafford, but Jose Mourinho's departure seems to have changed his stance.

Martial has since enjoyed frequent starts under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Fernando Alonso looks for a change in track

Fernando Alonso says his next move in motorsport could be "unprecedented".

The Spaniard, who won the Daytona 24-hour race at the weekend, is eager to try something different, like the off-road endurance event The Dakar Rally.

For now, his immediate goal is to win the Indy 500, to complete racing's so-called 'triple crown', having already won the Le Mans 24 Hours and the Monaco F1 GP.
