The 33-year-old Man United captain has made just one top-flight start in the past four months, and even conceded that he is struggling for form.

Valencia is now set to become a free agent - with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.

Real Madrid have booked their place in the last four of the Copa Del Rey, after beating Girona 3-1 this morning, to complete a 7-3 victory on aggregate.
