Klopp eyes new defenders

Liverpool are looking to beef up their defence in the current transfer window. 

According to reports, the EPL champions are eying Brighton centre-back Ben White, who spent last season on loan at newly-promoted Leeds. 

The Anfield club have also been linked with Norwich full-back Jamal Lewis. 

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to bolster his defensive options after Dejan Lovren moved to Zenit St Petersburg, while Joel Matip could also leave this summer.

Bournemouth's Nathan Ake is set to join Man City. 

The Dutch defender reportedly agreed personal terms with City, a week after both clubs agreed a fee of around 40 million pounds. 

This means Ake will be City's second signing of the summer, after they completed a deal for Valencia winger Ferran Torres

Pirelli has played down concerns about its plan to use softer tyre compounds at the upcoming F1 race in Silverstone

This. after Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and Carlos Sainz all suffered punctures during last weekend's British GP. 

The F1 tyre supplier says the blowouts were due to extremely long use on a demanding circuit, and NOT because of technical problems
