La Liga to resume on June 11

La Liga will resume on June 11 with the derby between Sevilla and Real Betis following a 3-month pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Organisers are hoping to end the season on July 17 and start the following season in September but it would depend on the coronavirus situation.

Just like the Bundesliga, the matches  will be played behind closed doors, and will be subject to strict health and safety measures.

Charles Leclerc, Fernando Alonso latest big names to sign up for virtual Le Mans

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc and two-time Formula One champion Fernando Alonso are the latest big names to sign up for the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The online race will be held in the second week of June, when the real event , which has been pushed back until September due to the coronavirus pandemic, was initially scheduled to take place.

Kai Havertz scores again as Bayer Leverkusen move up to third in Bundesliga

In this morning’s Bundesliga action, Bayer Leverkusen beat SC Freiburg 1-nil.

Kai Havertz became the first player in Bundesliga history to score 35 goals before turning 21.

However, Leverkusen will be waiting to hear news of the 20-year-old's fitness after he was injured in the match.
